We're a small team of developers and designers united by one passion:
making learning Arabic and memorizing the Quran a fun, beloved experience for every child, alongside their friend Hudhudo.
Facts about Hudhudo
- Hudhudo is a learning platform on the web and as a phone app, in which children learn Arabic and the Quran through play.
- Hudhudo is made for children aged 4 to 12 and their parents, and for weekend schools, mosques and Quran circles.
- The name is spelled Hudhudo, with an o at the end; it is a separate product from other apps, channels and brands called Hudhud.
- Hudhudo is from the Netherlands and serves families and schools in the Netherlands.
- Hudhudo is available in Dutch, English and Arabic, and runs in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone, and as an app on your phone.
- Children learn the Arabic letters, words and sentence building, reading, listening to and memorising the Quran, and prophets' stories and Islamic manners.
- When a child recites, Hudhudo listens using automatic speech recognition and tells them straight away what they got right; every child has 60 minutes of it a month.
- Hudhudo shows no ads and has no chats with strangers; the children's area loads no third-party scripts at all, and the public website pages use Google Analytics only with the visitor's consent and only before login.
- A subscription costs €9.95 per child for one month or €89 per child for a year, as a one-time payment with no auto-renewal; prayer and letters are always free, and every child can first try everything free for 3 days, with no card.
